Nigel Samaroo

Member

Nigel Samaroo is a native of Mississauga and a recent transplant to Hamilton in the year 2020. Since arriving, he has been eager to make a difference in his newfound home and has fortunately found a vehicle to make it happen through STAC Basketball.

Nigel holds an LLB from the University of Aberystwyth in Wales. Prior to studying abroad, Nigel completed a Bachelor of Social Science at the University of Ottawa. He majored in political science and minored in law. Nigel currently works as an Adjudicator for Canada’s largest tribunal.

Nigel is excited to be a part of the STAC organization as he strongly supports the tenets upon which the program was built – building inclusive communities in the heart of Hamilton. It is his hope that through his dedication to the program, he will help those around him realize their true potential and open doors that may have once been closed.
